OUR STORY
Two years ago we made the life changing decision to move to the beautiful island of Roatán. As tourists who fell in love with the island we (Ana and Max) decided to make this paradise our home. But soon after settling in we noticed something—while Roatán is full of amazing local businesses there wasn’t a way for visitors or even locals to find them. That’s when the idea for IBU Next was born.
What started as a need we felt ourselves has now grown into a family owned project to connect people with the island’s hidden gems. We wanted to create a space that showcases the amazing local businesses from small shops and restaurants to unique services and experiences. Our goal is to make exploring Roatán easy and fun while supporting the local economy and community that welcomed us with open arms.
With IBU Next we will provide a simple directory for visitors and residents to find what they need. Whether you are new to Roatán or have lived here for years we invite you to explore the island through the eyes of its business community—just like we did when we first got here.
